Rolando Morillo has over 15 years of experience within the investment department of Rockefeller& Co. and is currently Vice President and Equity Analyst of the Sustainability and Impact team. He is responsible for identifying and supporting the management of public equity investments for the Rockefeller Ocean Strategy and providing environmental, social and governance (ESG) research for the global investment team. Additionally, he has led the effort to provide thematic research on topics such as water, blue economy, sustainable healthcare and climate change.
During the past seven years, his responsibility shifted to become engaged in the research and identification of solution-based companies that incorporate sustainability into their business models within the small to mid-cap public equity universe. More recently, he has led the effort to identify companies that promote sustainability and good corporate responsibility, deepen the firm’s research capability and further the ESG integration process within the asset management division.
Prior to joining Rockefeller & Co. in 2000, Rolando was a portfolio analyst at UBS private banking Latin America division. He obtained his B.A. in Environmental Economics and Geography from Rutgers University.
